As we welcome the dawn of 2025, I extend my warmest greetings to all Fijians, friends, and partners here in the United Kingdom and across the globe. The beginning of a new year offers us a moment to reflect on the successes and challenges of the past year, and to look forward with hope and optimism to the opportunities that lie ahead.
In 2024, Fiji continued to build strong connections with the UK, advancing our shared interests in trade, education, tourism, and cultural exchange. As we step into the new year, we remain committed to deepening these ties and working together to create a brighter future for our communities, both here in the UK and back home in Fiji.
